Onboarding

The SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding solution enables an organisation to onboard new employees in a remote working environment by streamlining new-hire processes. It does so by using step-by-step wizards, intuitive dashboards, and built-in electronic forms, from any device, and from any place. 

Furthermore, the Onboarding solution enhances employee experience by offering personalised, interactive, and engaging elements that assist new hires in connecting with peers, gaining access to resources for new hire orientation, and using an onboarding dashboard to speed up the onboarding process. It lets managers design new employee welcome messages, suggest to them peers or mentors they can connect with, assign meetings and ascertain targets; all through one well-integrated platform.  

Performance Management and Time Tracking

A crucial element of your remote working enablement plan revolves around improving your employees' abilities and lowering compliance risks. You can achieve both of the above with SuccessFactors Learning Management Systems (LMS). By automating compliance training sessions, the solution helps you increase employee engagement and decrease administrative hassles by fostering a culture of continual, relevant learning for your remote workers.

Offboarding

Lastly, with SAP SuccessFactors, you can offboard members of your company as easily as you hired them. The Offboarding process can be initiated and completed entirely through the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central tool. It includes the following steps: 

  • Signing off with an e-signature formality.
  • Creating a knowledge transfer (KT) plan.
  • Hashing out and keeping track of KT tasks between the Offboardee and the new joinee in her/his place.
  • Scheduling exit interviews/meetings with the Offboardee.
  • Sending a list of assets that the Offboardee has to return.
  • Tracking the return of assets from the Offboardee.
  • Writing a farewell message from auto-generated templates. 

In some circumstances like insufficient notice periods, change in timelines, change of decision, mutual consent, illness, unavailability or others, there also exists the option to cancel the offboarding process.  

Further, in other exceptional situations, SAP SuccessFactors gives you an option to rehire an ex-employee of your firm, which the system detects as a part of rehire verification. This is a much simpler process than onboarding a new employee and hence of great advantage to your company.
